TCU Post Office Delivers Excellence

Posted on

Dear Horned Frogs,

Have you visited the TCU Post Office recently? The team’s friendly smiles, efficient processes and dedication to accuracy positively impact our campus daily. The post office is welcoming, full of Horned Frog pride and conveniently located next to Chick-fil-A in the BLUU. They handle thousands of letters and packages daily, sorting, scanning and delivering them to students, faculty and staff.

While the holiday season is busy, it doesn’t compare to the volume of packages and mail processed during move-in in August. Earlier this semester, a letter from a grateful family was shared with me:

“I wanted to write and express our extreme gratitude for the service that is provided by the TCU Post Office.

The ability to have items shipped to the TCU post office to pick up for dorm move-in is the most amazing convenience for incoming and returning students. I believe the TCU Post Office received over 30,000 packages this year that they registered, organized and distributed from Frog Alley Parking Garage.

Beyond it being such an amazing convenience, the staff is welcoming, accommodating, friendly, and a great representation of how much the staff at TCU does to provide for the students. I know that most other schools do not provide a similar service, and that reinforces the exceptional nature of what the Post Office does.

Our hat, and the hats of many other parents, goes off to the staff at the Post Office.”

Thank you to the family that took the time to celebrate our hardworking staff, and most importantly, on behalf of a grateful Horned Frog community, thank you, TCU Post Office. You are a wonderful resource for our campus, and we appreciate all that you do.

TCU Post Office By the Numbers:

  • 1,300 packages (approximately) processed daily
  • 6,400 TCU mailboxes rented
  • 33,000+ packages during move-in 2023
  • 255,000+ total pieces of mail processed in 2023 (projected)

Lead On!

    Welcome Home, Horned Frogs

Dear Horned Frogs, Welcome home! There is nothing quite like the last week of August on this beautiful campus. Residence halls fill up. Our world-class faculty put the finishing touches on their courses. Spaces that were quiet just a few weeks ago are buzzing again. And somewhere well beyond Fort Worth, our alumni see a…

    Give More Than You Take

Dear Horned Frogs, TCU’s commencement in May was a moment of joy shared by all. On the field and from the stage, it was a thrill to congratulate our newest graduates and join in this landmark moment.  With the purple confetti now settled and the Class of 2026 settling into a new season of life,…

Powering the Energy Workforce of Tomorrow

This post was originally published as a guest column in NAPE Magazine’s Spring 2026 Issue. The hit TV show Landman, partially filmed on Texas Christian University’s campus in Fort Worth, may have sparked the idea, but our new “Land Management and Land Administration” course at TCU isn’t just a pop culture tie-in. It’s part of…
